CHRISTOPHER CARROLL OF CMK RECOGNIZED AS 2007 HONOREE OF ST. JOSEPH’S COLLEGE 17TH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

Charity Event Raised Record-Setting $120,000 Earmarked for School’s Athletic Programs

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Jan. 18, 2008 – As the 2007 honoree of St. Joseph’s College’s 17th Annual Golf Tournament, Christopher Carroll, Founding Member of the law firm of Carroll McNulty & Kull LLC (CMK), helped raise a record setting $120,000. Proceeds from the charity event, held at the Sands Point Golf Club in Sands Point, N.Y., are benefiting the school’s wide range of athletic programs held at the campuses’ two locations in Brooklyn and Patchogue, N.Y., according to Sister Elizabeth Hill, President of the College.

“Chris played an instrumental role in the success of the golf fundraiser,” noted Sister Hill. Carroll graduated magna cum laude from St. Joseph’s College in 1988 and now serves on the school’s board of trustees.

“At St. Joseph’s, our goal is to prepare each student for a life characterized by integrity, intellectual and spiritual values, social responsibility, and service. Chris continues to do just that. We are immensely proud of him and appreciative of his efforts on behalf of the school,” added Sister Hill.

A resident of Morristown, N.J., Carroll co-founded CMK in 1997 with Joseph McNulty and Gary Kull, creating a culture based on client service, professional excellence, and trust. The unique philosophy of the firm, which is based in Basking Ridge with offices in New York, has resulted in the impressive growth. CMK now includes 38 attorneys and has plans for further expansion.

The firm’s core practice areas include insurance coverage, construction and surety, insurance defense, commercial disputes and business counseling, employment, and land use. CMK provides legal counseling and representation to clients ranging from Fortune 100 manufacturers, construction companies and insurance companies to closely held corporations, family-owned businesses and individuals.

“I attribute much of my success today to my four years at St. Joseph’s,” said Carroll, who ultimately graduated with his law degree from St. John’s University in 1991. “It is a privilege to be able to give back to St. Joseph’s through my work on the board of trustees and the golf fundraiser.”
