The Carroll McNulty & Kull Summer Associate Program, designed primarily for second-year students, is an integral part of our associate hiring program. Summer associates get a realistic view of life as an attorney at our firm. They are exposed to a wide variety of work with as many of our lawyers as possible. And we do not limit summer associates to performing research or writing memos. Our summer associates meet with clients, draft pleadings and discovery responses, and accompany our attorneys to meetings, depositions, and court appearances. We also work with our summer associates to provide feedback and mentoring, and we provide in-house seminars on a variety of topics. We expose our summer associates to what it is like to practice law in our firm so that they, and we, can make an informed decision as to whether we want to continue a working relationship after graduation.
