Josh joined CMK as an associate in August 2009. Prior to joining CMK, Josh was an associate with a large, international firm where he focused on insurance coverage and regulatory matters. Josh has extensive experience in litigating insurance coverage disputes, preparation of coverage opinions and drafting of insurance policies for multiple lines of coverage. Josh has handled declaratory judgment actions and drafted coverage opinions involving the interpretation of errors & omissions, commercial general liability, builders all risk, directors & officers and other forms of insurance. In addition, Josh has served as counsel to international and domestic insurers concerning general regulatory matters such as licensing, capitalization and company formation issues. Finally, Josh seconded to an international insurer in February 2009 where he assisted in supervision of declaratory judgment matters involving the interpretation of errors & omissions and commercial general liability policies.

 

Josh graduated from Fordham Law School in May 2005 and obtained his B.A. from Yeshiva University (Magna Cum Laude) in September 2002. While at Fordham, Josh served as an intern with the New York State Insurance Department’s Office of General Counsel where he assisted in drafting advisory opinions regarding New York State’s insurance laws and regulations. Josh was also a member of the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law.
