Prior to joining Carroll, McNulty & Kull, Blake was an associate with Cuyler Burk, P.C. where he practiced primarily in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance defense and commercial litigation. In 2006, Blake earned his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law. During law school, Blake served as judicial intern to the Honorable Alexander D. Lehrer, Chancery Division, Monmouth County Superior Court. Blake also interned in both the Advance and Business departments during the administration of Rhode Island Governor Donald Carcieri. Blake obtained his B.A. in political science in 2003 from the University of Rhode Island, where he was an Honors Program graduate, member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and a Centennial Scholarship Award recipient.

Blake is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, and New York State Bar Association.
