Gary has extensive insurance coverage experience, having represented insurance companies with respect to claims under CGL, first-party, homeowners, professional liability, directors and officers, EIL, builder’s risk, wrap-up, workers’ compensation, and other types of insurance policies. He has provided coverage analysis and has litigated, in court and through mediation and arbitration, claims and cases involving environmental, asbestos, toxic tort, construction defect, and products liability coverage issues. Gary has acted as National Coordinating Counsel for insurance companies in connection with a variety of environmental coverage issues, and has provided opinions and counseling to insurers on those issues for more than seventeen years.

Gary also represents insurers in connection with coverage issues arising in the context of bankruptcy proceedings, and in particular bankruptcies involving insureds faced with staggering asbestos claims.

Gary’s experience also includes appearances in the New Jersey Appellate Division and Supreme Court. He represented corporate and individual clients in commercial disputes, including those involving contract and employment issues, environmental litigation and compliance matters. His practice also focuses on complex commercial real estate transactions and lease negotiations, and he provides advice and counseling on other business-related issues.
