While pursuing her law degree from Seton Hall Law School, Allison served as a law clerk in a small civil litigation firm. In addition, she was an intern for Congressman Bill Pascrell in the House of Representatives, a research assistant for the House of Commons in London, and interned at the American Bar Association. Allison has been an active volunteer for the Pequannock Township First Aid & Rescue Squad since 2001. Allison was a Summer Associate at Carroll McNulty & Kull in 2009 and 2010, and joined the firm as an Associate in September 2011.
